Me and my Dad
Me and my Dad

Hi all –

I realized yesterday that I hadn’t posted on this site in several days and wasn’t sure how many of you heard through alternate sources:

On July 26th, in the early hours of the morning, my father, Dr. Richard Jeffrey, passed away suddenly. My sister and I flew out to Kentucky to join my mother the next day and have been grieving as a family ever since. My father’s obituary and memorial page can be found here. He was the center of our universe and the joy of all our lives – I don’t know how I’m going to go on without him.

Needless to say, in the midst of all this chaos, writing is coming hard to me. My dad loved this site and I will be continuing it in his memory – but for now, please understand if posts are brief and infrequent.

Thank you all for your kindness and support.
